We have used My Web Wholesaler on three occasions - with poor results. The purchases were all made within several weeks of each other, and before any shipment was received, then we quickly realized this was not a company to do business with - ever!
Our first purchase, made in mid September and paid for on September 26 (over $4,000) has never arrived (as of 6 weeks later). We have called daily for one month and hear an excuse each day. Several times during the month, we heard their warehouse was "on religious holiday" although this was told to us in early Oct and then late Oct.
We then were informed there was no direct phone to the warehouse and they would have to get back with us for the tracking information. We were told in early October that our items had been shipped and tracking information would follow shortly thereafter. We have never received any tracking information at all and of course no items. The company has REFUSED to return our money. Legal action will now be taken in addition we have contacted the attorney general for the state of Maine and the local state legislators in the area for My Web Wholesalers.
We are considering taking an ad in the Athens, Maine newspaper asking for Lisa De Palma to return our calls (daily messages left for her — never received a return call). We have learned that there is a trade law requiring funds to be returned if merchandise is not sent within 30 days of accepting the funds. No response from My Web Wholesalers as to why they are not abiding by this. WE ARE GOING TO TRY TO TELL EVERYONE WE CAN ABOUT THEIR FRAUDULENT BUSINESS!
We also sent them money for another purchase (around the same time as the first) that totalled approx $4800. After we started calling them to ask where these items were (two weeks had gone by - no contact at all), they told us they had oversold these items and wouldn't be able to deliver them after all. I called for one entire week trying to get them to send me my money back. I received these funds finally, almost two weeks later.
The last of the three purchases arrived within 5 days of placing the order. We couldn't wait to open the boxes of high end overstock, children's coats. What we were failed to be told— that 15% of the items were soiled, stained, or had rips and were unusable.
Approx. 70% of the lot included 1 piece of a 2 or 3 piece set — therefore the retail they had quoted us on these coats ($35 and up) was really the retail for the entire set — but they only sent us one piece of the set and so the retail value was misrepresented. We did not even try to follow up with them on this last batch — because after we started reading more about them — we realized that they are horrible to all kinds of buyers and we weren't going to recoup this $ for the coats. We just want to help others figure out NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY!
