My name is Danielle and I am an in home breeder of shih-tzu. My dogs are first and foremost my companions. I give them the best personal care and they are given the best medical care available. I have an extensive list of references available to anyone that would like to contact them.
I am not the type of person to put gossip on websites but there is a "person" out there that is trying to scam honest and reputable breeders and I feel that we need to join together to get the word out.
Breeders BEWARE of ELONDA WOMACK From BATESVILLE INDIANA. Major scam, liar, and con artist. She has tried to scam 7, YES 7 breeders to date (and the list is growing!) She tries to return puppies just as soon as she receives them. She then tries to make money on the deals because she uses her American Express, and when she files a complaint through American Express they will credit her account without even doing an investigation. She then demands cash back from the breeder for a refund before she sends the puppy back. All of us breeders are on to her scam. She is trying to make money from not only her charge company, but also by demanding cash back from the breeder, THIS IS FRAUD! She keeps said puppy for a few days and claims that the puppy is sick, but will not send documentation from a reputable vet. She then threatens with filing a lawsuit if her demands are not met. If you do not comply with her demands she will try to discredit your name by posting ads on various websites.
A group of us reputable breeders have now joined together to file a class action lawsuit. AKC has been notified, and so has a company that handles internet fraud. We have also contacted American Express. We have emails from Elonda stating her demands to breeders that she has tried to scam. Please help us stop this unstable individual. We need to protect our puppies from ever getting into her hands and anyone that is connected to her. They are not loving companions to her, but objects that she uses for blackmail and when she is done with them she throws them away like trash. It has been brought to our attention that she has even placed puppies in the hands of her local rescue organization.
