Nightingale-Conant New World Media ripoff, cheated me out of my 30 day free trial refused to cancel

Ordered their program on 7/8/05, received package on 7/18/05. About 2 weeks later I found one of the CDs was defective. On 8/11/05 called customer service for a replacement, he said it would be mailed out that day. I offered to send the defective CD but he said don't bother. He then talked me into paying for the program ($69.99) and said I would still have my 30 day trial
when I receive the CD.

On 8/26/05 I got a notice from them stating that my order could not be processed because my credit card would not accept a one penny charge for shipping and handling. So I call customer service and the guy said there was nothing about a notice on his computer. He said to just disregard the notice. I asked him if he could find out if my replacement CD had been shipped yet. He said that if it hadn't, he would mail it out that day.

He then told me that the program included a coaching program and that the total cost was over $250.00. I said I was not aware and that I did not agree to a coaching program. I was anxious to get off the phone so I told him to send me the details along with the CD.

9/7/05 still waiting so I called again. Each time I call is a minimum 10 minute wait on hold. A lady finally answers and I told her I've been getting a big run around. She assured me that she would see to it personally that it would be mailed that day.

9/12/05 I called again to request a return authorization. The guy said no way, it's been way over 30 days. I told him that I have been waiting for that CD so that I could finish reviewing the program but I had not yet received that CD. I told him that I have decided not to wait any longer and I want to send the program back. He put me on hold for a while and then asked where's the defective CD. I was told that I didn't have to send it back. He put me back on hold and then hung up on me.

On 9/20/05 my bank statement shows that they charged me another $69.99. I have sent 4 letters trying to resolve this and get that return authorization so that I can send the program back

On 9/29/05 I finally received the CD, 49 days too late. They have not responded to any of my letters. I want to send back there program. I did not get my 30 days to review the program.

I've got a feeling that they will continue to charge my credit card each month until they rip me off for the whole $250.00
