Working with Customglassware.com was a nightmare from the very beginning. After placing the initial order and being confirmed for all charges, an additional astronomical S&H charge was tacked on. Read the fine print they say.
After trying to cancel my order to take my business elsewhere, an "art fee" pops up. Read the fine print they say. Basically, they want to charge me for MY GRAPHIC that I spent countless hours working on.
I decide to go through with it anyway and ask them to put the order into production. Over one week later they send an email with an additional charge for shipping to a residential address.
I understand the golden rule of reading the fine print, but this was ridiculous! The terms & conditions were spread not only all over the website, but additionally withing the email correspondance I received.
This is a shady operation. Glassware production in Florida, billing department in Alhambra, California (which is in the greater Los Angeles area). I talked to the same person on the phone each time and could never get a hold of the mysterious person who wrote me emails. Nor could I speak with any supervisor, if there actually was one.
Take your business elsewhere. Stay local if you can. This place is a SCAM!!!
I've been doing business on the internet for over 5 years and have never had such an absurd experience. Please pass on the word if it is at all relevant. This "company" should be put out of business.
