I applied for admission to Strayer Online for Fall 2005. They first sent emails stating I would require letters addressed to the college dean for final approval. Then they sent e-mails stating that they would need another copy of my transcript. E-mail after E-mail, they proved that they were unorganized and unproffesional.
The admissions rep said everything was set, then I get calls from the financial aid office stating they never recieve my paperwork, even though I had already recieved awards notices from sallie may approving my aid. From one day to the next, I recieved e-mails from different people stating I was either admitted or I was not.
I decided to give up on the school and search elsewhere for my graduate studies, I wrote them stating this fact.??? YET, even though I never completed the admissions process to be enrolled for FALL The admissions rep decided he would enroll my in the Summer 2005 term and sign me up for classes. This was done without my consent, 1 semester before I was seeking admissions and without even completing the admissions process.???
Now, I have just received a bill for summer 2005 semester for $1539, and to add insult, I received a bill for $10 for Spring 2005 semester, 1 semester before I had even thought about applying to Strayer. I called the student services office today and they said I would have to write a statement explaing what has happened, yet, they could not guarantee that this will help.
