This school is run by a crazy person named Shelly Jansen. Shelly is greedy, unethical and has systematically alienated students, vendors and suppliers all over Los Angeles.
The school offers courses that are supposed to be "professional". These courses cost thousands of dollars and are not worth it. The instructors are often fresh out of school and have no real experience, they teach classes that are not their speciality and generally are not qualified to to talk about what it means to be a "pro" chef.
Course content is changed without notice, instructors come and go during the course, equipment is perpetually broken or in some cases not available. Simple utensils are missing from the kitchen or the entire class will have to share one item.
I asked for a refund after a course was changed and whole sections were taken out. The owner refused and then lied to the credit card company about what had happened. Many other students have had these kinds of problems with her and she refuses to adress them or will just treat people horribly until they give up.
Avoid this place at all costs.
