I received a call from a telemarketer promising
a $200.00 Home Depot gift card for trying their
services free for one month. I was told that my
checking account would be charged $3.95 five days
after I received the packet. After I received the
packet I would have 30 days to cancel the membership.
I never received the packet and my checking account
was charged the $3.95 immediately. A few weeks went
by and I was charged $119.90 for Premier Movie Pass.
I called them on June 17 to request a refund
and was told I would be mailed a refund voucher in
14 days that I needed to fill out and return. They
promised I would receive a check from them in another
14 days.
On the 19th of June, I remembered they had taken out
$3.95 for Call One Communications. On the 20th of June
I called to cancel that but they had already taken $149.90 out of my account.
I called them and got the same song and dance about
filling out a voucher for a refund.
