On interview with EDC bosses Donyale Nicola and Natisha Williams claim they will hire you as an independent contractor to become an Exoic Dance teacher. First they say you have to sign a contract with them and go through a month of training that they say is worth $600.
They then proceed each class to give you photocopied material from S-FActor pole dance workout and textbook copies of basic anatomy, none of which is their own work.
At the end of the training they make you do 'tester classes' telling you that you will get paid $25 an hour for a class the customer gets charged $75 and up.
The contract they give you actually reads that you are under contract with them as a pole dance instructor and compensation for you in providing them with your teahing services will you the contractor will recieve $600 worth of training.
They will also tell you they have been in the business for 10 years and know every aspect of adult entertainment, club managers and such when in fact they started as a company in November.
They basically try to enforce themselves as your agent, taking over every aspect of your career, and trying to use you for thier own purposes which is to make money without paying you your dues.
They fail to tell you what you might be getting into at the beginning anf then try to write a clause into their contract that if you ever leave them you cant work as an Exotic Dance instructor for the next 3 years without them suing you.
