Ripoff for not even made, money take out of my account without my consent

On 1/21/05 I noticed that I was missing $79.95 out of my checking account that I didn't know about. I put a hold on the debit card that was supposedly used and my husband contacted NHS. My husband informed the man he talked to that we had never been to or even heard of any of the web sites they said we had purchased subscribsions from. They closed our "account" with them and told us we would be recieving the missing $79.95 in 10-15 business days.

After 17 business days I called to see what was aking the money so long. The woman I talked to hardly spoke english and I didn't understand all of what she said. I did get an explaination that it would be after 10-15 business days that I would recieve it.

I tried to be patient and finally I got sick of waiting, I called the number once again; (646) 495-8107, and demanded to speak with a supervisor. The woman, (again foreign) informed me that there was no way to contact a supervisor by phone. She tried to give me an email address but I kept interupting asking for a phone number.

I called back later that day, (3/9/05) and as the line rang I realized that the ringtone was funny sounding. Like none that I had heard before. As a man answered I also realized that everyone I had talked to sounded like they were from India. It finally clicked in my head, the reason they aren't giving me a phone number is because they're in India! So all along I've been trying to get money from someone who doesn't even have the ability to give it to me!

I've emailed NHS and left my phone number but I got a reply saying that they don't give refunds for services rendered. I never even signed up for anything!!! I don't know how they got my debit card number but I sure as hell didn't give it to them! I am very mad! I want the money they stole from me back in my account! I have filed a report through the BBB but I don't know how far that will take me. Has anyone else been ripped off without even signing up for music?
