The Global Connection
Ripoff

I have to tell you that reading these stories make me feel not so alone any more. I was looking for a real business to work at from home to support my family. I was very careful (I thought). I spent several months in my search, got all kind of offers, get rich quick schemes among them. I didn't fall for any of them. When TGC contacted me, they sounded like a good business, a business that if you work hard you can succeed and make a living.

I spent about 2 months investigating TGC before I sent them a check for $3725. I didn't have the whole amount of $7450 they were asking for, so they agreed to half of the amount upon signing the affiliate agreement to start doing business and another half by 03. Before I signed this affiliate agreement I investigated this company, and couldn't find any negative statements. I checked the Arizona, Phoenix BBB, I wonder why they didn't have any bad records about TGC (I found entries on this site as far back as July). I checked some of the trade organizations TGC had listed. I also checked sites where fraud is reported (sadly, I didn't run into this one). I contacted all the affiliate numbers TGC gave me as references (just for the record Mr. Trevor Manning (TX), Mrs. Andrea Salomon (NY), Mr. John Weston (Australia). All these numbers are now disconnected.

Once I started working I had contact with Sonya Molina, Steve Arnold, Jerry Park, Mike G, and at last with Garret Silva assistant vice-president of TGC who contacted me after I cc'd Shannon Holden in one of my emails. Let's not forget Alex Michaels, the salesman that got me into this unfortunate experience.

I worked month after month very hard with no support at all, just to find their system obsolete, more than 70% of their products outside of surplus price range, very poor services and their training just limited to quick answers to emails if any. TGC sent me what they call written training material which it was the same as their website with a lot of filler.

I called hundreds of potential customers, some were kind enough to let me know the prices were too high. I have records of all these calls, plus emails to TGC complaining about their mentoring, prices, services and leads. Finally when the breach of contract was so obvious, I requested my money back. After waiting for a reply with no luck, I filed a complaint at the Arizona, Phoenix BBB website.

After a few days, the BBB told me they were unsuccessful reaching the company and couldn't be of further assistance. They gave me contact info for the Arizona Attorney General, so I filed an online complaint through their website. I haven't heard from them yet.

This is my story. Please contact me through the rebuttal key perhaps we can all join a class action suit. Does anyone know if one exists?
