I purchased a bed from Concord Levitz with a 1 year no payment plan and the store sent the wrong promotion information to HRS. HRS started charging me the interest at 10 month, so collections started harassing me for payments. I made the payment in full before the due date. I fax copies of my merchandise receipts to HRS, but they didn't clear my credit reporting because my receipt didn't specify the DATE of the due date HRS says that I made the payment LATE. Levitz receipts states the month and the year only and doesn't give a DATE, so I call the store for my ue date and they gave me the DATE so I paid in full before that time.
I called Concord Levitz and explained my situation to the sales person and the district manager, both got very rude and uncooperative but the district manager promised she will fax HRS the correct info and she never did. I'm still getting calls from collections and threats that they will charge off my acct for not paying and will destroy my credit.
I contacted the district manager's manager for help, even though I never got to talk to him and he never responded to my fax, he got me another manager to help me. She faxed a copy of the promotion change to HRS and when I asked her for a letter stating that they will fix my credit reporting for the mistake they made, she refused.
My credit cards got canceled because of the levitz bad reporting to my credit. I never got an apology from Levitz and my credit still ruined
