Hydroderm
Ripoff

This is for those who want to fight back.
First of all, if Hydroderm was as good as they say, their product would speak for itself, and they would not have to prey on people.

I ditto everything that was said ALL OVER the Net about it being IMPOSSIBLE to "cancel" with these frauds - they watch the caller ID and ignore repeated calls from the same area code. The jury is still out on how much money I will lose - might be 5 bucks, might be 100. It's OK, though - the class action suit is not far away.

Hydroderm will shortly regret ever ripping off even one person, let alone hundreds (search "Hydroderm Scam" or "Ripoff" and watch how many results you find... And how many complainants per site - it's startling). They definitely have some brains to match their "b*lls" but this cockiness is exactly what will end them. They can move around if they like and hide from the law, but that is only temporary.

If you are concerned about companies like this, please keep reading. When they advertise on EVERY website on the net (just Google search their name for proof), it isn't difficult to prove that they have effectively reached into the stream of commerce of every state in the union, and they have thereby availed themselves to suit in every such state, as well as internationally - the internet doesn't stop at the ocean, and I'm willing to bet neither do their shipping records (State and Federal Laws that they have broken consistently are obvious, the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, for one - which by the way calls for a $5,000 reward for convistion in addition to damages in many states).

Anyone who is interested in filing a suit against Hydroderm cannot expect to receive much money after legal fees, but when you multiply $50-$100 losses per person times 1,000 people with the exact same complaints (and lack of response) with treble damages (that's like saying Triple damages), I think you would get their attention when they have to write a $150,000-300,000 check. That's a conservative verdict, in my opinion.

They would not be able to easily file bankruptcy either - just do some research and you will see how "booming" these types of "alternatives" to cosmetic surgery are becoming... It would be difficult for them to prove that they are at a loss for cash.in addition, such a settlement would be more than enough to pressure all of the these ill-informed sites out there to STOP taking their advertising money. I'm sure Mr. Wayne Huizenga would be VERY disappointed if he knew that Blockbuster was advertising alongside such frauds - do you think many "Exclusive Rewards"-esque sites would hesitate to pull the plug on someone like Hydroderm if Mr. Huizenga said "drop them, or lose me"?
