Davids Bridal
Horrible Customer service

Please listen up for anyone who is looking to have a true happy and joyous wedding. My warning for you is unless you really want to add some more wedding nightmares to your life do not visit Davids Bridal at any location! They are a sham! The worst customer service i have ever experince! A time for someones wedding is suppose to be a time of celebration, and yes things do get complicated with where you are going to sit everyone, how much food you will need and where to have the wedding all together. But one of the most memorable moments in a womans life is when she goes to pick out her wedding dress. That dress that will make her feel so incredilbly beautiful and confident in. The dress that she is going to walk down the aisle and stare into her lovers eyes and marry. The dress should bring tears to her eyes or at least leave her with an emotion that she knows without it her wedding could not go on. That is what Davids Bridal promises us, but cannot deliever!"You'll love Davids Bridal!" Is the worst piece of crap i ever heard! I was planning a trip with one of my girlfriends that was getting married to go to Davids Bridal, all though i had been told of their dissappointments i decided we should give them a try anyway, because you never know all stores have there bad days. Anyway i met up with my friend at two o'clock to travel thrity minutes up to charlotte to look for her dress. Before we left i decided to make sure they had a slot for us to come that day so we didnt waste our time driving up there. So i called, when i finally got through a voice machine let me know that their location had moved. Now my friend thought this odd, because not only twenty minutes ago had she gotten the directions off line that told her to go to a diffrent location, that obviously wasnt there now. So thats strike one, now you maybe thinking i was taking this too literal, besides some places are maybe too busy to update their website, but you know how could they be busy if everyone is going to the wrong location. So i decided to brush it off and ask a real person when they picked up the phone. Then a woman came on i asked her about the move and she confirmed it was true, then i asked her for the real address and we were on our way. Before hanging up i asked her if it was possible for making an appointment for that day for in about a hour or sooner. She told me she would connect me and she would have to put me on hold. I agreed, foolishly little did i know what Davids Bridal's definiton of hold ment. I waited, ten minutes, twenty, twenty-five minutes! I was getting annoyed fast, i had hopped that this store had better been seriously busy to ignore a call like this. Finally around twenty-seven minutes someone answered me. "Hi" she said, "Well it looks here that i can fit you and your bridesmaids in on saturday for fitting is that good for you and at what time?" I was a bit confussed i said, "I am sorry, we hadnt said anything about bridesmaids or a saturday?" She responeded, "Well what kind of dress did you want?" I continued, "We were looking for a brides dress and we wanted to come in today, " Quickly she spoke again, "Oh sorry picked up the wrong line." And then she put us back on hold! Now it had been thirty-five mins now we were pullin into the parking lot still on hold, i was furious, but my friend reminded me not to show my temper. I took a deep breath and stepped out of the car and into the store. I was shocked as i stepped into their lobby, not only was there barely no one in the store, but there were at least five woman walking around, not one on the phone! Go figure! I went up to the front desk and politely introduced ourselves and that we were looking for a dress for my friend for her wedding. I also noted that we tried calling and were put on hold and left there. The employee just nodded her head as if was a everyday thing, which it shouldnt be, and asked us to have a seat. Then another woman greeted us, with not to bright of and attitude and my friend to fill out some paper work and pick out a few styles for her dress, and she did. Then we were greeted by another associate consaltant who seemed very friendly and i put my nerves to rest... For the moment. She brought us over to the dressing rooms that were smaller then my closet and told us to sit down. We went over when the wedding was and what price range she was in an what she was looking for. Then she walked away to grab the first three dresses. When she came back she went in with the first dress that was specifaclly the opposite of what my friend asked for, but she tried it on all the same. It was horendous! The fabric looked and sounded like it was made from a wind breaker. I quickly asked my friend what she thought and she asked to try on the next one and so the consaltant grabbed the next dress and went back into the dressing room. As i was waiting for the next dress i saw a woman calling out and asking for our consaltant, i grabbed her attention to let her know she was with my friend changing. She seemed to laugh to herself and then said out loud well she had another bride ready to go in so she needs to hurry it up. I was in shock! Number one, the disgusting attitude and the fact that she had the gaul to say this out loud to a customer no less, was appauling. I stared in shock at her as she walked a way. Then my friend came out in the next dress, still not what she was looking for. She tried on three more dresses and then i asked the consaltant about a dress i had seen online she told me that i could try to find it myself. Now i thought this odd because ten minutes ago she said that we couldnt even touch the dresses and now she wanted me to go searching for it. Obviously she didnt know her inventory or what she had advertising online. She also had a problem with math too it seemed, because she started to bring dresses for my friend that were out of her price range and still not the simple trumpet style she was looking for. I was starting to get very annoyed again and then to add a cherry on top that same woman who was looking for her earlier came by again telling her she had another bride waiting, like she wasnt with a bride already! My friend was getting frustrated and decided to leave and before she was even out of her dressing room her consaltant had already sat down with another family. I was completly blown away! Davids Bridal is suppose to be the famous grand place that woman come to to pick out there dresses, but all it is a bunch of pushy rude, no good snobby woman who work there not caring about your special day at all or anyone else for that matter. And that kind of business should not be in business as long as it has been, its ridiculous! After leaving that day i was so angry with my experince that i swore i would never step into another Davids Bridal again and i also swore i would help others from making that mind throbbing mistake. I even spoke of my experince to some of my co-workers and many of them agreed with me that Davids Bridal is one of the worst places to go if you are looking for any type fo dress. And not just here either, one of my co-workers had a problem in NY! So its obviously not a one store thing! So if you want to keep your happy day in bliss and your nightmares to a minium do not and i repeat do not go to a Davids Bridal!
