Carl "Buddy" Irby lived at the end of my street and began discussing home repairs with me the day after my wife and I got home from our wedding/honeymoon. He took "deposits for materials and equipment" for full a pool remodel and roof replacement from me in August and September. The funds paid out totaled right around $12,000.
After late September Buddy Irby made every health condition and drought condition excuse in the book for why my pool could not be remodeled until we received over a foot of total rainfall. This rain came in November and December. When the workers did not show up, once again, on January 3rd as scheduled I, needless to say, became very angry and concerned.
