Solar installation now involves a LOT of scams yet could not find proper category to file this under?
Contractor SolarWorldNC was hired to do a 10KW Solar PV installation on our roof in April.
The contract misrepresented the rebates from State and local utility (Progress Electric - now Duke).
Stacy Bland took a $25,000 deposit but never made good on ordering equipment.
Turns out he has quite a rap sheet. It appears he destroyed formerly legit business over substance abuse.
