The first time tech came out he spilled chemical on lawn. We were told to water it away but it spread and ruined36-40 sq feet of grass turning it completely scorched and brown. They were supposed to come and put plugs, then sod in but no one ever has shown up. This has been going on for a couple months.
Treatment after treatment, the lawn gets worse and worse. The weeds get brown on top, then grow back. We likely have 4-5 times more weeds than we ever had before they arrived. Some weeds die and fresh weeds grow to take their place.
It looks so bad that another random lawn company came to our door yesterday asking if they could help us with our lawn! This after we had all new sod installed 3 years ago and a beautiful lawn with only minor issues before TruGreen arrived.
Worst decision I ever made to hire them. They do not stand behind their work. They do not keep promises. They were told to always notify us before treatment so we can turn our automatic sprinkler off, but they never notify prior to treating. They keep billing me for this disaster. Next stop is going to be the news station.
Interesting that all the people here have had bad experiences with them also. Save yourself a lot of time, trouble and most importantly SAVE YOUR LAWN - DO NOT HIRE TRUGREEN unless you want what happened to me and others.
