I was quoted 93.62 for a new hardrive on 9/28. When I received my credit card statement I was charged 284.52 an overcharge of 190.90. When I call HP to resolve the problem I am told the 284.52 figure is correct. When I give them the date of the call and the order # and ask them to pull the phone conversation tape to verify what the company representative told me, they will not do it. They offer a full refund if I send the hardrive back. This is unacceptable. I have incurred 49.00 22.50 for tech support and disks to format the new hardrive plus spent several hours on the phone to install the hardrive and get the computer running again. Please note when I received the new hardrive none of the enclosed paperwork listed any prices, if it had I would have contacted HP then to clarify the issue, before I went to the additional trouble and expense to install it.
