Sazrec Irresponsible Slumlord that is supposed to be a property manager but only excels in excuses

I view a rental house on 3/12. I liked it and after approval moved in on 3/30. Approximately at 12:30pm on 3/31 I found out that my air conditioning was not working. I made a call right away to Jamie Gibbons about my issue. He said since it was a Saturday that I would have to wait until Monday 4/2 to have someone take a look at it. They came over on 4/3 to confirm that the compressor was broken. I emailed Jamie again on 4/4 to find out when it would be fixed since I had not heard from him since 4/2 and the A/C place said they were informing him immediately.in the mean time I also noticed that one of my door locks were falling off due to it being installed improperly and that both my french doors in the kitchen and my bedroom were missing screens making them inaccessible for ventilation that I needed since there was no A/C on the hot days. On 4/5 Jamie informed me that the compressor was broken (which I already told him) but they wanted to send another person out to verify that. On 4/9, I made myself available again for the A/C people, another company to price the missing screens, and another company about the dryer that was not installed that I even found food wrappers in. And once again, the A/C people said the compressor was broke. He said he could come back on 4/10 or 4/11 to get things working. I told him that would be fine because I would be available both of those days. Never heard from them.

On 4/13 I emailed Jamie again about what was going on with fixing all the issues because at this point only the dryer had been fixed. He told me that everything wasn't covered by the home warranty and the owner had to pay part of the expenses and it was approved so he was moving forward with fixing the A/C. On 4/17 I still had not heard back from Jamie and warned him that if someone didn't come out by 4/18 that it's going to be hard to make myself available for them since I had so much going on so it needed to be done right away. No response. On late 4/18 I asked who was going to be available to come out when they were going to repair it. Then I got the email of all emails from him telling me that I needed to call off of work and how it's hard for him to work with me due to my prior correspondence. He told me these were the cards I was dealt and to just deal with it.??? I made myself available that many times and for that long and I have been the one dealing with the heat and the lack of ventilation in 2 of my bedrooms? These were the cards I was dealt? Sadly, Jamie doesn't think being a property manager means to actually MANAGE A PROPERTY. He just wants to collect money and not be bothered with simple things such as doing his job.

Anyway, so finally on 4/19 I get a call from the A/C place wanting to come out on 4/20 to fix the compressor. I told them that I had to work and to talk to the property manager about being available to open the door. I then received a call from Cynthia Sweet who I'm assuming is Jamie's boss saying she would have someone out here on 4/20 to open the door but went on to tell me how it wasn't her fault... Blah blah blah. So I came home from work this afternoon to find out nothing had been done. Nothing. I talked to the A/C place and they said that Jamie decided to not come out until next week even though he was aware that we are having record high temperatures of over 100 all weekend and early next week.

Yep, slumlords doing what they do best.

As for the screens? Yep, still don't have any. As for my broken door? Yep, it's still broken.

So if this place comes up as your rental property, DON'T DO IT!
