On 2/25, I witnessed my kitchen floor was wet and when I steeped on the lamination wood water came out of the cracks. On 2/26 I called the plumbers and 3 hours later they found out the problem is the copper pipe coming from the dry wall of the house to the dishwasher. I stopped the water leak and removed the pipe. Monday, 2/27, I called my insurance company Farmers and started a claim for water damage, and today 2/29 a Farmers' appraiser, a Farmers' agent and inspector came to my house. They checked and took pictures. I explained what happened and they went under the house foundation since my house is a raised foundation. They said it's really wet and looks like rot on the wood of the foundation and the laminated wood flooring is wavy.
They told me this leak is a long term leak, which is not. This all happened 1-2 weeks in time at most! I purchased my house on July 31.
