Goat Trimmers is a rip off contractor. Promised services they did not provide and lied to client about the performance and expectations for the job contracted.
Goat Trimmers LLC is a vegetation removal contractor that uses goats to remove black berry bushes. They also provide trimming services to cut down the vines so you can walk around job site.
I hired Goat Trimmers LLC to remove Black Berry bushes from the back yard of a rental home I own and was promised a 2 day job where the contractor would bring goats to property and employees to chop down the remaining vines.
Goat Trimmers brought the goats to the site and proceeded to leave the goats unattended for hours at a time causing us to herd the goats back onto the property.in addition the contractor failed to come to the property the next day (as promised) to finish the job. They failed to bring the goats back to the property or chop down the vines as promised.
We contacted Goat trimmers the following week to inquire about the job and was promised that the job would be finished. They failed to arrive and did not call to update us.
We spoke with Goat Trimmers the next day to tell them not to return to the property and to refund 50% of the contracted amount (800.00) to us for failure to complete the job. The owner (Don Williams) agreed to this arrangement and told us he would meet the next day to refund the money.
We have traded several call with Goat Trimmers owner (Don Williams) where he promised to meet with us and refund the money and he has not returned calls for days.
We have researched the company and they have 5 complaints with the BBB. They do not pay thier taxes to the state of Washington and have workers they are not paying L & I insurance for. Please stay away from this contractor and please note that Goat Trimmers is working for State Agencies in Washington and attempting to work in California and Oregon.
The owner, Don Willians is not an honest person and buyer beware if you choose to use his services.
