Rick Hard of Stone Oak Lawn Association cut my lawn in Nov. While putting away my lawn equipment, he saw an 8ft fiberglass ladder in my garage and asked to borrow it just until he replaced his broken ladder. It was supposed to be a week or so but two months later he hasn't returned the ladder nor has he returned my phone calls. I should have known something was amiss when he didn't show up to put nematodes on my lawn the following week and I wrongly assumed, return my ladder. After reading the previous report, I am glad that I didn't give him money in advance as well. I can't work and live on military disability, so I cannot afford to replace the ladder. My next stop is the Better Business Bureau website because it would be a shame to have someone else taken advantage of. He has my phone number. I gave my number to him when he was here, I left it on his voice-mail, left it with his other job and had a friend give him both numbers personally so there is no excuse not to call me back and return my ladder.
The bottom line is that Rick Hard, owner of Stone Oak Lawn Association, borrowed a ladder from me-a customer, didn't return it and refuses to answer my calls.
