Appliances Connection BUYER BEWARE! Spend a few more bucks but save a major headache elsewhere

I'll get straight to the point here...

Appliancesconnection.com's web site looks like a legit business on the surface. But after 4 months of trying to get them to replace or at least repair the supposedly new washer and dryer which arrived quite damaged, we have learned that:
1) They make good sounding promises to correct the problem.
2) They use stalling techniques to make you think that "next week it'll be taken care of". As we've learned, next week never comes.
3) They possibly routinely sell damaged goods as "new". We could be wrong about this, but if you google "appliancesconnection.com scam" (which we should have done prior to ordering), you'll find plenty of other folks who suspect the same thing.
4) They have NO Better Business Bureau accreditation. Should have checked that out beforehand too.in fact, they currently show 68 complaints on the BBB web site.
5) Finally, as we all should know when shopping online, if it sounds too good to be true...
