I ordered an home furnishings item online at Fjorn.com, when the item arrived I realized that the color did not match my interior color scheme. That same day I prepared the item for a return shipment. The instructions said to "contact customer service" (which should have been my first clue). NOTE: I am used to dealing with reputable retailers who provide a return shipping label with easy/clear instructions.
I contacted [email protected] and called them at 1.877.706.0384 as stated on their packing slip. They issued me an RMA# over the phone and instructed me to create my own label referencing that number... Then they told me that my money would NOT be refunded, but I must purchase another item at which time I will be issued a "store credit"... NO exceptions... NO money will be refunded.
Their "return policy" (if you can call it that) is buried at the very bottom of a separate "shipping policy page". I am outraged... As consumers we have the right to get our money back so that we can shop where and how we please. I will NEVER shop at Fjorn Scandinavian again and I am posting this on my Facebook Wall and telling all my friends!
Do NOT shop here unless you are 100% sure that you will not need to return the merchandise!
