We have $30,000 gunite monument in our backyard. Unfortunately it is not "square", as it should be. Greg McMaster of McMaster pools admits it is wrong, but has spent two weeks stalling ALL building.
No further work has been scheduled on our project. He has directed his employees that he is "personally handling our project" and they are to tell us nothing.
He has not returned any phone calls in the last week and asserted in the last conversation that he was unilaterally dissolving our contract.
As we are still bound by our contract - and the large sum of money paid out - we cannot seek remedy from another contractor until we recoup the costs incurred thus far.
It is unclear if this shoddy workmanship can even be repaired or whether the entire process will have to be demolished to start again fresh.
