Target Homes are real smooth talkers. They paint a pretty picture of your dream home, ask for all these down payments and fees. They were selling me a House w/Land and after I gave a down payment for the contractors which totaled about $8,000.00 and $1,000.00 for down payment on the Land, The bank didn, t approve my loan. I tried for weeks to get my money back, they gave me a hard time. I received some money back from the down payment to start building, But I didn, t get back the money from the Land. We are in need of the money and they would not budge. I only wish I had the money to hire a lawyer and put that company out of business, so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.
