NY Moving and Storage, including all employees and the owner, need to be put out of business. They cannot be trusted to pack, disassemble, ship, deliver or reassemble household goods. The entire process from start to finish was armature at best, and criminal at worst.
The quote was a low ball offer, the contract was a form letter purposely vague. When asked to clarify and document verbal agreements, it took two or three iterations working with Roselyn and/or Mike depending on who wasn't "sick" that day.
The quoted cubic feet and weight of goods was accurate and confirmed by three different visual estimates done by other companies, yet they did not bring a truck large enough to fit our belongings, or enough packing material. Within 5 minutes of being in the home they informed us that the quote was too low and they would have to charge us double what was quoted.
