Equity Builders and Michael Miller as representative, solicited their service to reduce the principal balance of homes with mortgages of 125% or more Loan To Value (LTV). The solicitation provided a 60 day window to achieve the result of negotiating with lenders, purchasing note, and refinancing the aquired note at 80% LTV. After completing an application and making a deposit of $595.00,90 days passed and there was no result other than collection of my financials and making contact with lenders. After 120 days no change. A refund was requested on April 13 and a promise was made to refund the deposit within thirty days was made by Michael Miller on April 13. On May 4, a reminder was sent to Michael Miller, 20 days had passed and no refund was issued or received. On May 16, Michael Miller was contacted via email stating more than thirty days had passed since his last email, and to contact me via phone, Michael Miller replied eight days later via email apologizing and stated the refund will follow in the next week. On June 3, phone calls were made to the offices of Equity Equity Builders, Inc and went unanswered by a live person. Messages were left and a follow up email was sent to notify Michael Miller of the phone calls made. On June 6, again calls were made and went unanswered at Equtiy Builders Inc. An email was sent again to Michael Miller of Equity Builders Inc. Subsequently, I received a phone call from Michael Miller's cousin Davra Johnson, from Houston, TX with excuses for Michael Miller. To date No member of Equity Builders has returned emails or phone calls and none of the promised refunds have been received. Upon further investigation, this is not the first if Michael Miller's ripoffs. Under the company M & M Modification, Michael Miller is at the center of another rip off scam. Unfortunately fo that person, he lost his home.
