Misplaced payments, high prices and no customer service

Duke Energy may be the demon of power companies. We'd a statement that did not receive money in March. I created a check cost through their automatic program and believed I had been all set. Sadly the cost never struck my banking account, therefore Duke arrived and disconnected us. Since I have believed it had been my mistake, I went forward and settled the $250 bill along with a reconnect charge along with a deposit. Subsequently that cost once more didn't strike my lender. I named my lender every single day for three months plus they mentioned nothing had come through at-all from Duke, and truly nothing have been delivered. Again, Duke arrived and disconnected people without so much like a courtesy telephone call and explained it had been since my cost was delivered. Today with the costs out of this chaos they're informing me I owe them $950 to become reconnected!!! Never ONCE did my check rebound, they simply did not approach my cost precisely, however now I actually donot possess the cash to pay for this crazy statement and we require energy having a child in the home. They care not just one touch, and WOn't function something out around. It's unfortunate and incorrect that people don't have any additional options for power in New Albany, IN!!! They're a monopoly of the toughest type, and nothing has been done about this. Nothing.
