Basics:
We rented an apartment for 2 years from Empire Realty and Management. When we moved in we made a checklist of everything that was out of place or broken, we were assured that we would not be charged for pre-existing conditions. The stairs were also sagging on the building and we were promised that they would be fixed.
As soon as we signed the lease, that's when the customer service went down hill. Calls were never returned. Such as went the community started putting tow stickers on cars without parking permits. We called to get a permit, no response. Three calls later, he finally responded.
There was a leak in the toilet also, we called about the leak to get it repaired. No response. A couple weeks later, the seal on the toilet broke. They had to call a plumber on the weekend to have them come fix it. That costs extra. Not too bright.
Move Out:
We finally moved out for work in another state.
