My wife and I were victims of Mike Bodrug in 1999. We called on an ad in the Toledo Blade for land in Colorado. We put down nearly $700 cash and paid Mike Bodrug religiously $100 a month on the "land contract" he prepared for us.in 2000 we even drove across country to visit "our" land. It was in Mike Bodrug's name (we visited the town hall and looked up records) which we expected since we had not yet finalized the purchase. It was in a huge open pasture, in a valley where you could look all around and see the beautiful mountains of Southern Colorado.in all we gave Mike more than $6000 for the land. I have all of the checks to prove it. I have all of the letters that he sent. I even have a recorded phone call where he states in his gravelly voice that he got our last check and is going to send us the deed. What I DON"T have is a deed or any proof that the crook ever did anything about the legal agreement that we had. The A$H073 took every penny of our money and gave us NOTHING but lies and dreams in return. We pinched pennies every month to make sure that this land payment was on time and now all we have to show is a big fat nothing. Mike was always talking about all of his kids and how we should get together "out West"... Well you stole a big chunk of money that was supposed to be a positive in our family's future. I hope someone finds you, sues you and you end up broke and behind bars you souless thief!
