On Oct 11/10 we ordered carpeting for 3 rooms plus 3 runners to be measured, cut & bound to protect the carpets. After one installer mis-measured, the carpet was finally installed but the runners were cut to the incorrect length. Since then, they have been re-measured three times but we receive constant excuses as to why they are not ready - carpet was not in stock, too busy to come to measure, etc. Etc. We have been in the store on a weekly basis since November & keep getting constant excuses. Finally today, Jan 8/11, the owner Lenny called & stated that he would not be responsible for measuring the runners again, that we were responsible!!!
We were to bring in the old runners and the measurements & he would get them made!!! I reminded him that when we originally ordered the carpet in October, we told him that we wanted the 3 runners and he said there would be no problem with that. Both installers were also told the same thing. I told him we reported him to the BBB. Then we got a phone call from FloorBiz in North Carolina - who the BBB got in touch with - and they are not affiliated with the Leesburg store. He is using their name and logo illegally. Lenny and his son Ryan with FloorBiz in Leesburg, Fl is a crook so don't let anyone deal with them for carpet.
