Brian Jarratt defines the term 'slumlord'. He will never fix anything wrong in the property he rents to you. He will take a huge security deposit from you and you will never get it back, no matter what condition you leave your property in. Do not rent from him.
I took him to court for not returning my security deposit and he hired a sleazy attorney and I won the case, he appealed and ended up paying me off a pathetic amount of money so that his name was not seen in the court system any further. The judge told him at the end of my case that he was a slumlord and the case was cut and dry and he had no hesitations about giving judgement to me.
I rented half of a house from him and he never fixed a single thing that went wrong. The oven did not work two months into the lease and it stayed that way until the day that I left. An animal died in my infant son's room and he did not remove it. There was water leaking from the toilet and sink and he did not fix it and it destroyed my neighbor's ceilings.
Brian also entered my apartment when he felt like it and did not notify me in doing so.
Stay away from this slumlord...
