Unhappy with work that was done

I was quite unhappy with work that I had done. I was charged a lot of money and the end result was not sufficient, for me, as a permanent solution for my home. I had to pay even more money to have what was originally done upgraded by someone else. And I still have another part of the job that needs upgrading. He never even came to my house once personally so he never even saw the exact details of the situation. What good is 20 years experience if he isn't even there? Bottom line is I feel I was charged about double what I should have been charged.
