On June 25 Skytop cashed my insurance check of $6469.71. As of November 15th my roof hasn't been replaced. Two separate roofing companies have called me to say that they're taking over my contract then called me back several weeks later saying that Skytop wasn't ponying up any money. I threatened legal action and they called me to say that my roofing materials were ordered and on their way. When I asked for proof of this, however, they didn't return my calls.
The latest development is that I have filed for a small claims court date. I suspected, however, that they may have vacated their premises in Commerce City and found that this is in fact the case. I can't even have the court summons served. I now get to try to track them down. I heard that they have a base office in Greeley.
