I recently ordered a large amount of merchandise from Yankee Candle online, but because I couldn't get the website to work, I had to call the customer service line. I think I was transferred to a store, where an associate took my order, and my email for confirmation.
My card was charged and I was told that the items were shipped. However, they never arrived and neither my post office or my complex office has any idea what happened to them. I won't blame Yankee Candle for this problem, because if the items were shipped, than it's out of their hands.
However, I was treated quite rudely when I inquired what my options were. It was enough for me to never use their online or catalog services again. The associate told me I was "SOL" and then hung up the phone. I've sent a letter of complaint, but I have yet to hear back from them.
I love the products and I love the stores - but I will NEVER use their order service again. It's probably the worst I've ever encountered.
