I just finished my remodel to my condo and getting to use my appliances for the first time.
I have a top of the line Duravit hot tub in my master bath that cant use yet. During installation test, when tub was filled a motor would go on without anyone touching a control. Contractor sent his electrician over to look and he just unplugged and then plugged back in. Thinking that just a reset was needed and it was ok. But after I moved in I tried to use it and then it happened again and had to craw in the back opening and unplug it.
I contacted Duravit In April and they sent someone to inspect. (Jerry Sosa) He said he would order the part and I would also need to have the opening made bigger before they installed it. (Which I did)
After my designer was trying to get them to set up a date to repair but never got a answer. She finally got a email from Duravit questioning if tub was still under warantee!!! She wrote them that this is rediculous.!
She finally got a email from Tech support Engineer at Duravit and asking if I can find out if its the air blower system or the jet pump that goes on! I let my designer know that they had someone here already to check it out and i have no idea now because they are both unplugged and i dont want to fill up and run again and cause damage!
Still today, Duravit has not followed up with my claim #1519
And I have no use of my expensive tub!
