I bought a patio set from Rec, last June at the time of purchase no one told me that it was teke wood or had to have a special oil on it. The salesman helped me load it onto my truck and I asked what to put on it to preserve it and I was told a clear perservative. I did a week later it looked like crap and started to peel, I called back to Rec and ask again and got a run around and they told me to sand it off and do it again, so I did it still cracked and peeled. I have tried to talk to them several times even did a report and took pictures out to them, I also took the pictures to Wells Fargo and they were amazed they would not replace ro give me a credit for it. I called again today 6-8 and spoke with the manager, he spoke with his salesman and bassically called me a liar, that they did not tell me that and that they would not replace anything. To sand it off and put teke oil on it, which I would have done if I had been told to start with. Would you pay $1400.00 for something and deliberatly put the wrong thing on it? All I want is store credit or a replacement of equal value, not teke wood.
