Purchased hot tub from Ricci Cavanna off of craigslist. I was told by it was 3 years old, 110v (not 220v), that they could deliver, no cosmetic and or mechanical issues ("working perfectly") 3 days later went to view/purchase/eventually transport hot tub. Right, so as it turns out, its 7 years old, it was not a 110v, they couldnt deliver, and after personally transporting (friend w/hauling capabilities bailed me out) I discover (so far) its missing a component which helps the pump run. Literally, the hot tub CAN NOT function as/is. Of course when I call Ricci 2 hours after purchase. She alleges it was working when I took it off of their property and shes not responsible for its condition now. I was naive, I should have made her prove its "perfect working condition". Clearly she misrepresented the condition of the hot tub. Professional coming out tomorrow to get an estimate/idea of just how functional this said "perfect working condition" hot tub really is. Update to follow..
Interesting side note... in each report filed, there was a "family emergency" cited by Ricci (no different this time in my purchasing experience). Looking back on it now I feel cheated from start-to-finish. My unprofessional opinion is Ricci/Vinny/Cavanna Construction specialize in scamming honest peoples money frequently enough to be reported on a internet blog/site a half a dozen times now (so far...)
