Unless you're an engineer who knows pool construction and are willing to supervise the job, don't use Riverbend Sandler. During construction work was done shoddily or left unfinished - for example, pipes leading to the scuppers leaked (dramatically), the electrical sub-contractors were unlicensed and chased off the job site by the city inspector, the pool drain line was left open and draining into my front yard until I made MANY phone calls insisting it drain to the street (as per plan), etc etc etc.
Since completion in June '08 two parts have failed. As the first failed within the first year it was replaced under warranty, the second was NOT as it had been 17 months - despite the fact that the Service dept said it WAS under the 3 year equipment warranty when I called it in. $165 later, guess that was just a way to keep my from using a REPUTABLE vendor.
Again, if you're willing and knowledable enough to supervise the job - watching all work, checking sub-contractors licenses, calling again and again as work isn't completed or accomplished poorly, go ahead & use Riverbend. Otherwise, find another pool contractor!
