We hired Joshua L. Lindsey of Kula, Maui, Hawaii on 7/18/09 to do a renovation project on our kitchen and bathroom. The completion date was supposed to be 8/17/09. He took our money and never completed the project (unfinished drywall, electrical, exterior painting and misc. Finish work). On the work he completed the quality was very poor where the framing is not square with the existing building causing some potential structural issues.
After further research with the State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) we discovered that he misrepresented himself as a licensed general contractor. It turns out that his father Henry Lindsey is a licensed contractor, not him.
Please be aware of Joshua L. Lindsey as this con artist is a smooth talker and will lowball a bid only to screw you with a higher price in the end. He is also involved selling Amway products, especially pushing the XS Energy Drink line. He is also rumored to be starting a spa and beauty care business called "The Hub" in Honolulu and is soliciting business partners for this venture. I would avoid all business dealing with this camelion!
