This is the worst experience I have ever had with a business. They completely lied to my wife and I for the entire experience. Customer service is non-existent. I first checked theBBB as their sales rep Danielle had advised and they had a good rating so I thought it would be ok. If you arereading this it will not be ok. We kept having to put up more money. Danielle didn't mention to me that her company would be charging me additional for all these "extra packing materials". We are now 1200 miles away and they aretelling us we have to pay for additional space on the truck and extra materials. They have been holding our furniture for 4 weeks now, which is much longer than the delivery time of 7 days I was given by Danielle. If you call the office a woman answers who barely speaks English and they just keep putting you onhold. Now they tell us we must pay the movers in cash. $4000.00! I don't know anyone who gives shady people that kind of money. Even oursigned contract says certified funds. We were assured this would be agood experience from Danielle. If you are reading this and have given this company your money report this company to your credit card company and get your deposit back... PLEASE do so. I wish every night whenI go to sleep I would have listened to the other people who warned me about this company. We are now sleeping on the floor sharing blankets andpillows. If you do decide to use Quality Move Company I recommend securing anattorney up front. It was finally what we had to do.
Furthermore, our attorney has found that they are operating in violation of numerous sections of 49C. F.R. 375 that regulates the operations of motor carriers transportinghousehold goods between two states. Each of these violations carries aminimum $1100 dollars fine as per 49 U.S.C. 149. The violations arelisted below along with the referenced regulation, all of which areunder 49 C.F.R.
375.211 Arbitration - No notice of arbitration was given before execution of the order of service.
375.213 Pamphlet - No pamphlet Your Rights and Responsibilities was given at pickup.
375.503 Inventory - We did not receive an inventory until delivery, inventories are required to be given at loading.
375.505 Bill of Lading - We did not receive a BOL at pick up with anykind of identification numbers (for vehicles being used to transport) printed on it.
375.513 They did not give us an opportunity to observe the weighing ofour articles. They are required to give the shipper reasonableopportunity to witness the weighing.
375.521 They did not provide us with a copy of the weight ticket within24 hours of our request. They did not even provide a copy on delivery.
375.601 They did not make delivery within a reasonable period of time.
375.603 They did not deliver within the specified period agreed upon at pickup.
375.605 They did not notify us of any delays when the delay became apparent.
This is a very fraudulent outfit. PLEASE do your research before selecting these criminals to be your mover. They will put you in just as agonizing of a situation as they do every other customer they have.
