I hired D & R Masonry because they were the cheapest bid. BIG mistake! I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company in my life. There were no written contracts, and he said he would take "digital pictures" of the finished product (for supposedly a 5-year warranty), but I doubt he would want to do that with the project he did on my house.
He left 2 workers (a guy and his barely-adult son) at my house to do the entire project - tear out, re-pouring of concrete, etc. The grade was completely off, and they did a half-as& job of trying to fix it.
There are lines/dents in various parts of the concrete, and due to an error on their part, I now have 2 different color concretes in my driveway (a gray color and a white color).
Dealing with this company has been one of the worst experiences in my life. Ron claimed the project would take 2 days to complete. It ended up taking 2 weeks. And for those 2 weeks, the workers left all their mess around my driveway.
They also tore up my lawn in various places with their equipment. I would NOT recommend this company to any home owner trying to save a buck. I had to learn the hard way: (
