I bought a home from Gil Ramirez Homes back in November. There were a few things that did not work from the get-go, such as the doorbell. I called many times to report this and they would tell me that someone would be over to check it out.
One person would show up and "inspect" and I would never hear from them again. After calling and calling the company they would just tell me, "Oh they do not work here anymore". I guess when the employee was let go, all of their reports or assignments were just ignored. This happen to me 3 times. All three people that were handling my situation suddenly did not work there anymore.
I would call the office to speak to someone and they would tell me, "Give me until the end of the day and I will have an answer for you". The end of the day never came because I still have not heard from them.
I wrote an email to the main boss but he doesn't reply. Ever since the original problem (doorbell) was reported more problems have come up. The power doesn't work in my kitchen area. The toilet appears to be leaking somewhere as there are water spots on the ceiling in the first floor, right below it. The caulking job they did on the exterior looks awful. The house looks like it has paint spots everywhere.
I continuously email the owner of the company, Gil Ramirez Jr, but he never responds. I have asked him to set up a meeting and of course he acts like a coward and never responds. I ask his employees to set up a meeting with me and him and they never call back. It is now August almost a year since I bought the home, and my warranty is almost up. Stay away from anything with the name Gil Ramirez.
