I noticed the first report and decided to write one.
This is the first time I have ever done anything like this but think the way campus realtors treats Baylor students is just wrong.
A friend of mine moved into a property rented or owned by campus realtors and had about the same experience as the first write up.
The apartment was not even close to being ready on the move in day and it took many calls and complaints just to get the landlord to call back (much less get someone to the apartment to fix the problems).
The entire semester this never changed and it was almost impossible to get a straight answer from Ryan on anything.
My friend filled out the "pre move in condition" form and turned it in on time. Only to be charged for all the problems they mentioned needed to be fixed before they moved in!
Apartment leases never work out perfectly but I don't think expecting a call back from the owner/landlord is too much to ask.
Save yourself (or your parents) a lot of money and heartache and avoid any properties owned by campus realtors around Baylor.
