We purchased hardwood flooring online from this company. I spoke with the company before we placed the order to ensure the flooring was in stock. After I completed the purchase, Optima Tile & Stone (or build4us.com) informed me that the flooring I wanted was actually not in stock. I requested a refund.
Days later, I noticed that my Visa had been charged $3,604 by Optima. When I called, an employee told me that he believed I was just angry and didn't actually want a refund. He said he was waiting for me to call back to place a different order. I asked him again to process the refund.
A week later, I still have not received a refund. I called and the same employee said they handle a large number of orders and sometimes things don't get done. He said he would initiate the refund today. I am very disappointed in the company's unprofessionalism.
