This company took my order for 2 water filters for a refridgerators and charged my card for the order placed. After 10 days of waiting for the water filters (since you can't get a live person) I contacted the "chat representative" on the website where I learned my order had been backordered.
First off... You cannot charge someone's card until that order is shipped. That is illegal.
Second, usually a company is professional enough to contact you & let you know that your order is backordered. They NEVER DID
I was told the order would not be shipped for another 9 days. At which time I wanted to cancel my order (which by the way is the only way this company will allowed a cancellation so I was well within my rights). However, I would have to do so by email which I immediately did. 7 hours later I get another email stating that I cannot cancel & that the order left Chicago. I informed them not to ship and to issue a refund as I had stated earlier that morning. And if they did so, the shipment would be denied & returned. Which it was. The representative that has been emailing back is condescending, non-communicative and unprofessional. There is absolutely no reason that I should not be given a refund! This company is fraudulent & rip offs!!! Do not order from this company.
