I purchased this grill three years ago. After about 2 years, the entire burner system, grease plates, and anything that had to do with that system disintegrated.
I did not have the receipt, but had the serial number and everything, so I submitted that, included photographs of the disintegrated and broken pieces and was told I would have a "courtesy replacement" of "items". It was not clear until later that the only were willing to replace the burners alone, not all of the other parts that broke or disintegrated under the warranty time.
Simply put, the manufacture date is set with each serial number, and they knew at the time I submitted the warranty request that the grill was less than three years old, but they refused to replace any of the other parts aside from the burners. It was going to cost me over $100 to get the other parts replaced, almost half the cost of a brand new grill.
Simply said, although these grills seem at first glance like higher quality grills, they ARE NOT. These "stainless steel" systems are cheap systems slapped together, and they know this, and do not honor their warranty when they go bad.
