I am a diabled vet and have applied for 100% disability. I have also applied for my social security disability. I have notified Wells Fargo of this and also told them that I have not worked since Nov. 2007. I have for last year and half tried to work with them and send money when I could.in Jan. 2009 I enter an agreement with to pay them $1100.00 a month until I was caught up. The first payment was due 9 Feb. 2009.
On Jan. 30th I came up with the money and by thier direction I sent Wells Fargo a cashiers check. I sent this by registered mail thru the US postal service (with return reciept). On Feb. 19, I was notified that my payment was never recieved. I called Wells Fargo and gave them the tracking number and check number. They verified that they had recieved the letter on Feb. 05. But did not know where the check was. They said until they could find the check, that I was in breach of the agreement and that my house was back in forecloser. I asked them if I could call Fort Mill, S.C. And find out where my check was, and they said the number for that location could not be given out. I have tried everthing that I can think of except hiring a lawyer.
It has gotten to the point that no matter what you tell a company and even show them proof in writing, they believe you that you are a liar and thief. This time I am glad that I have the US Postal Service to Bakc me up.
