May I contacted Mason Capital Group/Gretchen Fox and Assoc. Regarding my mortgage. I explained my dilemma, as with alot of us, due to employment changes, my mortgage was seriously past due and to avoid foreclosure, I spoke to a Gary Arnold at MCG. Mr. Arnold explained the services of Mason Capital Group, gave me the fee structure, and faxed the application to me. Mr arnold guaranteed that his company, The Mason Capital Group/Gretchen Fox and Assoc., could lower my payments so I could afford them on my new salary, guaranteed no balloon payments at the end, could get the late payments added to the end of the loan, guaranteed there would not be any foreclosure and that we did not need to send any more payments to the lender, Chase Home Loans.
I faxed all the necessary paperwork back to Mr Arnold (3) times. I sent my fee in to them, I heard nothing from them, I called twice a week and left messages for them to call me and got no responses. Finally in June I called and this girl named Armi, assistant to someone named Olga, said nothing was being done because they did not have my financial statement, well I got very upset, but sent the information she needed, I called everyday to speak with the new person assigned to my case his name was Nemo, assistant to Carl, mind you we started in May and it is end of June, still guaranteed no foreclosure.
June 24th I got papers by way of the sherrif notifying me of foreclosure sale on the courthouse steps July 24th at 10am. July 10th Carl finally contacted Chase and was on 3-way with me and Chase. Carl yelled at my Chase rep. Called her a liar, (we sent money Western Union at Carl's say-so and was not arranged with Chase, was denied by Chase and sent back to me) that is why he called her a liar, I then severed ties with them asked for my money back and negotiated a new deal with my lender before the foreclose prceedings.
I got notification from MCG about the deal I negotiated with my lender, they attempted to take credit for the work I did, wanted me to sign the contract with them accepting the arrangement. Needless to say I declined to sign anything for them, and have requested time and time again for a full refund because they did nothing to earn the fees that they charge. No refund yet. Need to get a bunch of us together and gang up on them make them do right by all of us that were ripped off bt The Mason Capital Group/Gretchen fox and Assoc.
