Steve Byrne with Mason Capital Group, was the first person that I spoke to. I was told to start my file that I would have to pay $2250.00 up front and then $500.00 once the modification was complete. Then Steve told me my file was being taken over Carl, as he was going out on a leave of absense.

I did receive notice from my mortgage company that they had received paperwork from Mason Capital Group and were working with them. Gretchen Fox still exists and states that Mason Capital Group is no-where to be found. They claim to be stuck with all MCG's files but state there is nothing that they can do for me and now I must go to my mortgage company to find resolution.
I have an actual file on www.gretchenfox.org that I was given for viewing and monitoring the progress of my file. The website is still there, but has now been updated to state that case is closed claiming that I have either accepted and offer with my mortgage company or the contract has expired and refund has been issued. Well, neither has happened! Where to go from here?!
